Like
a fingerprint, each individual is unique and has different nutritional
needs. The following suggestions are just guidelines, and nothing more.
In
order to obtain the highest energy level, one must fuel up on a sufficient amount of
carbohydrates.
In Grand Master Caprio's opinion, some of the best sources of Carbohydrates, "the energy tool",
are:
Whole
Grain - Breads,
Pasta, Rice, Potato, and Grain Products (i.e. cereals)
Fruits
-
Apples, Bananas, Melons, Grapes, Pears, Pineapples, just to name a few. Citrus
fruits are included as well.
Vegetables
- Spinach, Broccoli, Corn, Beets, Carrots, Cauliflower, Squash, Cabbage, to
add to your list.
Good
diet consists of a healthy balance. Do
not believe the myth that
sugar is the best
source of energy. Sugar will only limit your energy level and "crash" your workout.
